Razor cutting edge start-up Information Security Company, NeuralIQ, Inc. (http://www.neuraliq.com) based in Santa Monica, CA is looking for an extremely experienced ActionScript/Flex/Flash hacker willing to experiment and push the envelope of web development and data visualization. The perfect candidate should have at least 5 years of heavy experience in ActionScript hacking and great knowledge of Flex and Flash IDEs. This is an opportunity for you to leverage your extensive ActionScript and web development techniques and knowledge to help our company's many extremely cutting edge web data visualization projects. As a part of a growing team of world class engineers (or as we like to call ourselves "Low-Level Code Monkeys"), your activities will include but not be limited to finding new and extremely cutting edge ways of web based data visualization in flash by applying never before done ActionScript/Flex techniques. We want someone who has a strong aesthetic sense, is great in pushing the envelope of web/flash based data visualization and SciFi user interfaces. Aside from being a playful, curious, philosophical, abstract, very artistic and clever devil, that special candidate will also have the following skills and/or experience:

• Extremely good knowledge of either ActionScripting, Flash and Flex.
• Great understanding of visuals and interaction concepts in Flash/Flex.
• Good knowledge of one or more of the following HTML, CSS/CSS2, JavaScript, XML, XHTML, DHTML, AJAX, etc.
• Any knowledge of one or more of the follwing Python, Ruby, PHP is a plus but not a requirement.
• Any knowledge of MySQL and database driven web sites is a plus but not a requirement.
• Extensive understanding of Flash UI design and user interaction that pushes the envelope.
• Understanding of various wireframe fidelities
• Confortable with working on Linux server backend as well as working with Apache2 and it's modules is a plus.
• Very strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to learn and try new things as well as extremely good research skills.
• Extremely good sense of design and all newest and current web trends and standards.
• Love for solving problems and being part of truly World class team.
