The Job in a Nutshell:
This position will play a critical role in the design and development of a GPS based application and workforce management system. Responsibilities will include: analysis, design, implementation, and unit testing of a J2EE software application. Strong user interface experience is also desired.
The successful candidate will work on user interfaces, real-time systems and distributed applications development.
We are a looking for team players with strong verbal and written communications skills who will fit in with our growing company and positive work environment.
Must-have skills and experience:
- BSEE, BSCS, or related degree required
- 4+ years experience doing object-oriented development in Java
- Java, SQL/PLSQL, J2EE, XML, JDBC
- HTML, JavaScript, JSP, XML, SQL and HTTP
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Additional Plus:
- Strong interest in user interface design
- RIA-based development such Adobe Flex, ActionScript, Flash OR extensive event driven UI development such as Ajax
- Photoshop or Illustrator experience
- Telecommunications, Networking, and Location-based Services
