Richards-Zeta Building Intelligence is the manufacturer of IT-centric integration products that are used to manage intelligent, networked, electro-mechanical (HVAC, Lighting, Elec., etc.) systems that are found in buildings around the world. We are seeking an experienced RIA Engineer to help design and build the next generation of our Linux based appliance, using the latest and greatest Web technologies.

Requirements:

• Detailed understanding of Object-Oriented techniques, design patterns and development approaches, especially as they relate to ActionScript. • Ability to design, develop and implement high quality code in a timely manner. • Solid experience developing complex, enterprise-level, web-applications with Adobe Flex. • Excellent understanding of GUI design – the ideal candidate will be able to formulate and articulate strong technical and aesthetic opinions.

Desired Skills:

• BS degree or higher, preferably in CS. • Minimum of 5 years Web-GUI design and development. • Solid experience with FLEX, AJAX, HTML and CSS. • Experience working with Web services such as XML-RPC, SOAP and other data feeds. • Python experience a plus. • Linux experience a plus.
