Applied Minds is a Los Angeles based company currently seeking one experienced Flex programmer/developer. Contract period is for 3 weeks on an extremely interesting advanced technology project.

Candidates should have at least 2 year’s previous experience on professional/commercial projects and have an excellent work history that demonstrates core competencies at the programming level.

We are looking for candidates that are confident, hard working, good communicators and will compliment a company of design engineers, scientists, artists, designers, inventors, sfx and film directors and producers.

All work is to be done at Applied Minds in Glendale, California.

Candidate qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• OR at least 2 years of experience using OOP within Flash and FLEX for the gaming, multimedia or Internet industries
• OR an equivalent combination of education and practical work experience.

Skills: Fluent with Flex 2 Fluent in AS3 Development experience with OOP Combining Flash CS3 components into Flex applications Knowledge of source code control systems and development methodologies Ability to work with an existing API
