We're looking for an experienced Flex developer to work on developing exciting new features of our next generation music products that are used by the over 35 millions Playlist.com users. Create exciting next generation user interfaces and features for our Flex widgets (Over 20 million embedded on the Web and growing rapidly!) The ideal candidate would have proficiency in Adobe Flex, Rich Internet application development, and a strong working knowledge of usability-focused interfaces.

Responsibilities

Some exciting projects you’ll work on:

• Help design an ubiquitous Playlist experience across social networks, Playlist.com and installed clients
• Develop an installable AIR playlist client
• Implement video and steaming content into our widget
• Develop a configurator for widget skinning
• Develop a music module accessible to other applications
• Integrate Playlist API's with existing XML & JSON data feeds
• Implement a user login system within our widgets
• Extending processes for feeding data to widgets from various sources

Experience

• Experience with Actionscript 3
• Audio and Video application experience
• Flash Communication Server / Media Server
• Familiarity with applying OOP in a Flash/Flex development environment
• Write organized, well documented, reusable code
• Have a love for Music!
