Sr. Flash Application Developer
Job Title: Sr. Flash Application Developer Location: Beaverton, Oregon Duties:
Utilizing experience and a proven track record of successful Flash, Flex, and ActionScript web development, lead the application and UI development of web based applications for the Consumer Support Premium Services goals. Successfully delivering on premium UI and application tasks using Flash (for Flash player 9), Flex 2, ActionScript 3 and other technologies including but not limited to AJAX, JSP, JS, HTML, CSS , XML, XSLT, Java, TeamSite, multimedia applications, database interactions and data modeling tools. Researches, tracks and understands new web technologies to provide technical solutions in developing service applications and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to business goals and objectives. Provides written design documents, functional specifications, visual comps, test cases and test results. Manages, develops, integrates and implements related application components. Additionally responsible for maintaining and enhancing multiple applications, building IT standards, and promoting industry best practices
Skills:
- 4-5 years' experience using Flash (more focus on Action scripting than Timeline)
- 3-5 years web development experience Flex (Flex 2.0 preferred),
- 3-5 years web development experience AJAX, JSP, HTML, CSS, JS, XML, XSLT
- Working knowledge of the Java programming language
- Working technical knowledge of current Internet systems software, protocols and standards, including TCP/IP, HTTP, XML, SOAP, Web Services and Service-Oriented Architectures
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT web solutions for customers through a disciplined Development Methodology that leveraged various roles (for example BSAs, Project Managers)
- Knowledge of web application servers (i.e. Weblogic, Apache) is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in both formal and informal settings
- Ability to confer with end-users, clients, or senior management to define business requirements for complex systems and infrastructure development
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience defining global technology, IT architectures and applications to support global consumer support solutions is preferred.
Education:
5-8 years IT technical experience in web application development -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree
