Our client a newly formed content division of a large beauty company seeks a motivated and passionate Lead Developer looking for the opportunity to be surrounded by strong infrastructure, but build out a new media platform from scratch. For the right person this will be a dream job! The company is committed to building the premier web 2.0 content portal and social media platform in the beauty and fashion industry. They are passionate about engaging enthusiastic users through exciting editorial and interactive applications.

This client is looking for the type of developer motivated by brainstorming ideas and working with a team of mixed roles, but fully capable of implementing those ideas independently as a sole developer. This can be your very own project!

Requirements:

• Senior-level ColdFusion experience ** 5+ years and familiar with CFMX (6.1,7 and /or 8) and CFCs
• Ability to design and build an enterprise-level web application (including supporting database) from the ground up
• Experience with at least one major CF framework: Fusebox 4/5 (preferred), Model-Glue, OR Mach II framework
• Strong understanding of the MVC design pattern
• Expert-level MS SQL Server skills required, including data modeling, stored procedures, indexing, profiling
• AJAX exposure is a plus
• Understanding of multi-server load-balanced web server environments and the related issues and challenges
• Ability to brainstorm ideas and work with a team of mixed roles, but implement those ideas independently as a sole developer

Compensation:

Negotiable - final amount commensurate with experience
