One of our direct clients is looking for an experienced UI Architect. This position is with one of our direct clients in San Jose, CA. The company is an exciting Pre-IPO, Software (Saas) company with great products and large customer base.

This position demands highly motivated individual with good leadership skills that will help in building efficient and scalable web UI Platforms. The position enables to work closely with the Product Management group in understanding and identifying product requirements and work with the architects in the engineering group to design, build and improvise on the existing product suite.

Responsibilities

• Design user interface architecture product roadmap
• Architecture Strategic planning of UI platform development across all products.
• Deliver hands on product code development
• Work with Product management and engineering management
• Work with engineering management in planning of project deliverables
• Handling task level planning and management of project deliverables.
• Establish and UI development standards and guidelines.

Job Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in building web based environment, with at least 3+ years of work experience as a web user interface architect.
• Deep technical expertise in creating highly scalable and flexible UI platforms.
• Excellent technical capabilities and sound knowledge of J2EE enterprise applications particularly Java, JavaScript, XML, Struts and relational databases
• Experience in web 2.0 technologies is required
• Good knowledge of frameworks Spring, Hibernate etc is essential and experience in Adobe Flex is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organization, logic, and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Must have leadership skills to lead teams and mentor other engineers
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple activities
